Gary from Chicago's Oscars moment grabs attention of Bulls, Bears

Gary from Chicago is about to reap the benefits of going viral on live TV.

During Sunday night’s Oscars, host Jimmy Kimmel surprised a handful of tourists by bringing them into the Dolby Theater during the show.

One of those tourists, who identified himself as “Gary from Chicago,” quickly went viral as he started comfortably greeting celebrities, handing them his phone for selfies and kissing the hands of all the famous women in the front row.

This grabbed the attention of some of Chicago’s sports teams.

The Bulls tweeted, “Gary from Chicago! We’ve got you covered if you want to come to a game! #Oscars”

The Bears followed suit, tweeting out a photo of a Bears iPhone case with the caption, “Got something for you Gary from Chicago. #Oscars.”

Gary from Chicago is sure to get more offers as he enters his 15 minutes of fame.

Let’s just hope his 15 minutes turn out a little better than Ken Bone’s.
